What comes to mind when this word is used, for you and your business?
Many of our issues, which arise in our business, if examined properly, can more than often lead back to our belief to deserving … and in fact all our situations are a product of our belief system. So your current situation … arises from your beliefs of what you think you deserve. So if it is not a good situation, or you want to just improve, you have to know that you are responsible.
What you think you deserve is what life will give you … so if you have a business and you want it to be successful, but it is not … what you want may be true, but what you believe you deserve can be much different. This can be unconsciously the case. It usually is the case for all of us. So, no matter what you do, if you want to be successful but do not change your belief system and behaviour, then it cannot work and we will keep getting the same results.
So, right now, if your situation is not going the way you would like it to … then you need to change your belief system. There are specific ways to do this and the first part is awareness …. You need to be aware.
In order to change your belief system, there are many ways to do this such as …
- New information & Resources
- Surround yourself with a positive environment
- Self-time for development
- Development for your business
- Development coaching videos
- Life & Business coaching development
- Commitment to change day by day
These are some of the ways to bring about change, but what I find for most people, and myself, is that without commitment to change, and having someone to coach and guide you through the process of change, then most of the time, we fall back to old habits.
When I go to meet my clients, I find this is the most important and the most valuable time. It is the time when we get to review what has happened, and what needs to happen in order to move forward and bring improvement through change.
Here are some questions you can ask yourself to bring about awareness of your beliefs, which might be blocking your success. Take some time with these questions and write out whatever comes to mind. Remember this is a process and it might feel silly or you might resist … but this is exactly what the resistance is …. And by doing this process, you will achieve growth. Most of us do not want to do this, but the people that do this process are the people who are successful. Why? Because they are committed to change, improvement and this only comes about through awareness and emotional intelligence.
What do I deserve for myself and my business?
Why is my current situation today like this?
What have been my choices, which have brought about decisions which have led to my current situation?
If I keep doing the same thing, and getting the same results, how will that feel?
If I can change one thing today, what would it be?
If I change my choices to more positive ones, how will that be?
How would I like my life and business to be now, and in a year’s time?
If I can have a successful business, how would that feel and look like?
In order to achieve success, what do I need to do and what do I need to feel each day?
Who can help me to achieve this?
What do I need to do now?
